Hyundai Motorsport has launched a new initiative to help keep its crews, customers and fans entertained during the current COVID-19-enforced lockdown.

As well as working closely with DirtFish on World Rally Championship content – look out for our exclusive and insightful interview with team principal Andrea Adamo – Hyundai has revealed its “stay home, think motorsport” initiative.

Hyundai will offer a ‘Home Shakedown’ on Thursdays, with news from its crews on how they are passing the time away from the i20 Coupe WRC. ‘Powerstage Live’ on a Sunday will be broadcast on Instagram, with Adamo talking to his crews about key aspects of WRC events.

Team Principal Adamo said: “These are difficult times. We have been working hard to collect a wide range of content to share with audiences around the world.

“There is no rallying at the moment, so we are adapting to use the tools we have at home to keep everyone entertained. We are able to bring the drivers and crews to fans who are trying to beat the boredom at home.

“There will be a variety of written, visual and live content across all our online platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and our website, which we hope will help keep fans on the racing line. Stay home, think motorsport!”

A documentary about the manufacturer’s title-winning 2019 WRC season, as well as content relating to its other motorsport activities, will also be available.
