Second Annual Subaru Winter Experience Creates Lifelong Memories

SUBARU WINTER EXPERIENCE 2019 KAMIKAWA & MILADINOVIC

March 12, 2019 — The 2019 edition of Subaru Winter Experience has come to and end, drawing to a close three fully booked weeks of ice driving on Dollar Lake in Eagle River, Wisconsin. More than 200 drivers enjoyed a fleet of Subaru WRX, WRX STI, and BRZ cars on multiple ice tracks during one- and two-day ice driving experiences.

“This has been an amazing winter season for us,” said Patrik Sandell, founder of Subaru Winter Experience and driver for Subaru Motorsports USA. “I’ve been smiling for more than three weeks now, as all of the drivers that participated have given us great feedback on our program. As always, the instructors from DirtFish Rally School have delivered the highest level of professionalism and have been a huge part of this event’s success. We’d like to thank all of our sponsors and partners who have helped us make this year’s event a reality!”

Subaru Winter Experience will be back once again in 2020. Class dates and information will be finalized before the summer.

“We have many ideas for next season’s classes,” added Sandell. “The track designs will be brand new, and we will start to introduce advanced ice driving classes for the first time ever. We may have just wrapped up our 2019 experience, but we already can’t wait to welcome everybody back for 2020!”
