Girl Scouts of Western Washington Join DirtFish Motorsports For Red Bull Global Rallycross Seattle

Snoqualmie, WA – DirtFish Motorsports is very pleased to announce that Girl Scouts of Western Washington will be joining the team as a sponsor for the tenth and eleventh round of the 2017 Red Bull Global Rallycross.

DirtFish is particularly thrilled to partner with Girl Scouts of Western Washington because of the solid legacy of the Girl Scouts brand. “We believe Girl Scouts is a perfect fit for DirtFish – we both believe deeply in female empowerment through creative avenues that teach core life values,” said Michelle Miller, the DirtFish Motorsports Team Manager. Of the upcoming rallycross double-header in Seattle, she remarked, “It’s the perfect venue to showcase Girl Scouts. Everyone’s equal on a race track.”

Girl Scouts gives every girl access to life-changing experiences that inspire her to do something big. Girl Scouts of Western Washington serves more than 25,000 girls in kindergarten to 12th grade across 17 counties in western Washington with the help of nearly 13,000 volunteers. They believe that one girl can make a difference, and that girls together can change the world.

Look for the Girl Scouts of Western Washington’s iconic green colors on the number 25 car of James Rimmer at this weekend’s race.

Currently in the overall standings, Conner Martell is sitting in second place only sixty-eight points behind the leader! With three races remaining in the 2017 season, Conner will be required to have three near-perfect races for his chance to finish the year on top of the leaderboard. Conner’s DirtFish teammate, James Rimmer has had a great rookie season, ending up near the podium and even coming close to a heat win more than once. He will be looking for his best finish of his career in front of his hometown crowd!

The race will take place at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington this Saturday and Sunday (September 9th-10th). The gates open to the public at 9:00 AM on Saturday and 8:00 AM on Sunday.
