James Rimmer — Cascadia International Rally Championship – 2WD
James is currently a freshman at University of Denver in Colorado. He moved to the US from the UK when he was 4, where he had his first taste of the rallying bug. His father, Steve Rimmer, grew up in England and rallied when he was younger. At the age of 12, James got hooked on the sport of rally after being introduced to the sport by his dad. His main exposure to rally driving had been in all wheel drive cars, but when the opportunity came to test drive a BRZ in the dirt, he had to jump on it and absolutely fell in love. James grew up in a family that was always attending a car event nearly every weekend of the year, and cars in general were a large part of his childhood. James says, “I am very grateful for the opportunity DirtFish has provided me with in driving the DirtFish rally school BRZ this year in the Cascadia cup series. Being able to utilize the facilities at DirtFish is invaluable, allowing me time and space to practice.”
